Susan Hendrix, D.O., is a practicing obstetrician/gynecologist and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, where she was the Director of the groundbreaking NIH-sponsored study that drastically revised the guidelines for hormone replacement therapy (HRT). She was recently cited as one of the “Best Doctors in America”, was named by the Detroit News as a 2003 Michiganian of the Year, and was the only physician honored by Governor John Engler for the “30 Years, 30 Women” Award. She lives in Detroit.
