Todd Outcalt is pastor of Calvary United Methodist Church in Brownsburg, Indiana and the author of The Best Things in Life Are Free and The Healing Touch. He has written for a variety of magazines through the years, including Cure, For the Bride, Bride's, The Christian Century, and Leadership. He is also the recipient of the Simon Scanlon Writing Award given by the Franciscans for his essay, "The Stigmata and the Breast"—an essay that is included in The Healing Touch. Recently he also preached the longest sermon in Indiana history (www.longestsermon.com). Todd enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with his family.
