Michael A. Adamse received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami after completing a pre-doctoral fellowship at Yale University. He currently lectures worldwide for Nova Southeastern University where he holds an appointment as Adjunct Professor. He also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Dr. Adamse specializes in relationship issues and has been in practice for over twenty five years. His offices are located in Boca Raton and West Palm Beach, Florida. He is an expert psychological commentator on many issues and has participated in over 300 radio, print and TV interviews.

His first book Affairs of the Net, published by HCI books in 1996, represents a cutting edge study of online relationships. Dr. Adamse has appeared on numerous television programs including: the Sally Jesse Raphael Show, Maureen O’Boyle, Dr. Joy Browne, On Main Street on several occasions, MSNBC and on ABC’s 20/20 in recognition of his expertise in this area.

Dr. Adamse’ first novel, Anniversary, published in 1998, is an inspirational story and represents HCI Press’ first fiction based book in over twenty-five years of publishing. He recently completed the screenplay based on the book.

Dr. Adamse also hosted a weekly National Public Radio Show, On the Couch, which featured interviews with various nationally recognized leaders in literature, the arts, entertainment, politics and the media.

He was recently interviewed as an expert commentator for the documentary feature film Profile: Lust & Lies in Cyberspace scheduled for national release in 2007.
