Dr. Stephanie Brown is a clinician, author, teacher, researcher and consultant in the field of addiction. She is the director of the Addictions Institute in Menlo Park, Calif., where she also maintains a private practice. She is a research associate at the Mental Research Institute in Palo Alto, where she co-directs the Family Recovery Research Project. Brown is the author of eight books. She frequently speaks at national women’s conferences, including Hazelden’s national women’s conferences, a variety of national clinical forums, and other professional venues.
